Default Rumor: SkyWest interested in Compass?

Been hearing growing rumors on the possibility of SkyWest being interested in purchasing Compass from TransStates Holdings.

Anyone else heard anything about this?

no.

did entertain the thought though for a moment - is it a logical add on deal. whats in it for skyw?

skyw will have the E175 certificate soon. - no need
compass is alpa so they wont merge it with skyw airlines. - would only add to current contract struggle xjet / asa
if they wont merge it with one of their subsidiaries, how can inc generate value beyond tsh's current margin?

other thought
maybe to obtain what would be a junior pilot group after the compass flows to DAL?

too bad tsh is private, cant really look at their numbers to see why they would sell it.

SKW is still struggling with the XJT purchase... They have made it clear they can't do anything until that side of the house is cleaned up..

They better be prepared to open their checkbook wide open for Hulas. He only buys cheep!! I don't think he will sell anything until he steps down..

Skywest should trade XJT to Hulas for Compass.
