I would also bet that these may be headed to the ERJ side of ExpressJet to replace the 50 seat and under jets.

This is incorrect. The scope limitations are based on Certified Max Gross Takeoff Weight.

Correct, but it's the only one. And it's range isn't great. It's not looking like a good product so far.

I don't see where it says that in the latest announcement. It just says 100 MRJs.
