Pinnacle/SkyWest deal

Or we could all wait a week or two and see what happens. 900's are profitable for DL and Q400's for UAL, but who knows what they will decide. It's about as rational as a near bk company having its CEO take a pay raise after asking for permanent pay concessions. All we are doing is spinning our friends and brothers into consuming way too many tums and rolaids. If it happens it happens. And when it happens, we unite.

Because that's what we've seen so far? One group wanted to revisit the staffing ratio and quota issue, the other two - those who benefited - didn't want to entertain it. Then one group tried to make a push to be the surviving MEC, but lost. So much for unity! Ever since the list came out, each group is trying to get what's best for their own group. And the horror stories about failures in training speaks volumes about what's really going on.

The one thing we are all forgetting is most of us had no idea Pinnacle was buying Mesaba until it hit the newswire that morning, so I doubt anybody here has a "reliable" source on this matter.
