I think the problem would come when skywest has to try and train 3000 pilots. If this were true i could see Delta/United making skywest buy everything like 9E was forced to buy XJ.

I was told from a fairly good source that shortly after skywest CEO was seen in Memphis with menke , all three CEOs skywest, pinnacle and
Delta CEO were all together in Atlanta for 4 days.

May mean nothing or the end of the world ......

Apparently the 14th floor has been restricted yesterday and today with most big wigs in town. Somethings up

Maybe not, but I'm sure they'd love to pick up some 900s for pennies on the dollar....

Delta wants to get rid of more 50 seaters. You don't make long term business decisions based on short term needs. Pinnacle isn't that big of a deal. They can move these assets around as needed and get the flying covered. If you think a white knight is going to bail Pinnacle out you may be sorely dissappointed. It is very, very bad when a corporation has the payroll issues that Pinnacle is experiencing right now. It is a symptom of very serious financial issues inside the company that may take the whole circus down.

Hopefully someone comes in and saves Pinnacle's bacon. But right now its looking pretty bleak.

I hear this argument all the time; you can't just buy the pieces in BK! If it were that easy Mesa would no longer exist as well as several others (US, DAL, UAL, etc.) who filed BK over the last 10 years. No, it's far more complicated.

Probably referring Chapter 7, not 11.

CH 7 is a "liquidation bankruptcy"

What are the differences between chapter 7 and chapter 11 bankruptcy?
