Reserve with EFB notification will make their experience, something they will remember vividly for the rest of their lives. The reality that upgrade has gone so junior is the proof.

There's really not much QOL difference as a Junior guy on the CRJ vs Reserve. I've flown with plenty of guys who bid reserve instead to at least get the days off they wanted since PBS pretty much ignores most of what you want anyways.

Got to go w/ CCB on this one. That and the fact that you have to take ORD or MSP for now. I can't even imagine the hell that commuting to reserve would be here. I guess once we get the EFB and we are all reserves, it won't matter anymore and I can finally upgrade.

PBS doesn't ignore what you want, you just have to know what PBS is going to give you and adjust your wants to that. That is why PBS ignores seniority. 2 and 3 day trips that I can hold go junior to me all the time, because PBS wants to give me 88 hours. So it takes all my 3 days away and adds another hour or two each trip to get my line up. So now I just bid for high paying 4 days.

I have been the biggest SAPA critic but I have to hand it to them that they may finally see the discontent that is brewing in the pilot group. Now we will see if that message gets through to management, or if we will just stick with TTWWHADI.

I'm not disagreeing with him... I've had a few months where I needed a specific day off each month I literally bid only that day off guess what happened?

I too am calling BS on the harassment culture. I'm sure it happens but it's very in the minority and it is not a problem unique to one airline.

Otoh, I have heard of male Pilots being falsely accused and disciplined. Absolute BS
