Last years pay package was nothing more than a pay freeze. Factor in inflation and it was a pay cut.

True those point towards concessionary, but when I look at what was passing around the same time I think we got out at about breakeven. Our hourly rate which is very important to me is still higher than most and we aren't capped to 4 year FO pay or 12 year CA pay like other places.
We def had the wool over our eyes if we knew what the company's plan was for the EMB, we thought we were helping the EMB guys out meanwhile that was just the little nudge of pilots they needed to pass it.
It could def have been a lot worse.

Sounds like the EFB has just been announced at ASA. SAPA said their policy was uploaded to the SAPA site, but I don't see it anywhere.

Wow, I didn't know airlines were still doing this since 117 began. I thought 117 prevented an airline from putting you on ready reserve after completing an assignment but apparently that is not the case at Skywest or Mesa.

Adding RDY to the end of assignment happens nearly every day at SKW. Amazingly enough they've never once called me during RDY. I usually spend the time working on my other job (on my laptop at the SFO Starbucks), perched on the edge of my chair for the 4:00 pm shuttle to the employee parking lot. If anyone is in SFO's Terminal 2 on a given weekend around 3:00, stop by the Starbucks next to the Virgin ticket counter and say hi. I'll be the guy trying to pretend my phone doesn't exist

The only time I was ever called on RDY was immediately after blocking in from a reserve assignment flight. My recommendation, leave soon enough that you're a solid 5-10 minutes down the highway by the end of your airport jail time. You can make it back, and pay to park in short term if you have to in :20.

Why did Skywest recently change their checklists? Just curious because the same was done at ASA.

So getting worked up over this being a sign of a pre-merger would be hysterical I take it?
