I think you missed my point. I barely experienced ORD, I only commuted for 4 weeks, a blip in the space-time continuum. Yet I'll be quite happy if I never have to sit on the 32R pad again. I don't know how y'all do it. Life out here on the West Coast is just so much easier. Snow? What's that again?

To answer the original question, while certain routes are going to be flown by certain airplanes at certain bases, the magic of being on reserve, not to mention this re-flow nonsense that is about to rear its head at SKW when they supposedly can notify us of reflows at any time through our EFBs....means that until you can hold a line (and possibly not even then) you won't have any foreknowledge of where you're actually going.
On half of my reserve blocks since starting at SKW I have been deadheaded somewhere else to cover another domicile's flying. While based in SFO I've covered a PHX 3-day and an LAX 3-day. While based in IAH I covered a COS 3-day and a DEN 3-day. And so on and so forth.
In other words, all you can really be sure of, when you have a base and an airframe is:
1) All your flying will be on that airframe
2) They have to ensure your trip starts and ends at that base.
Aside from that it's all a guessing game.

Oh, give the guy a break. It's an honest question and if you're new to 121, a plausible one.

kfahmi - Appreciate the feedback!
spaaks - Yes, I am aware any airlines "route map" may be pulled easily, but next time pay attention to my question before indirectly labeling me as just another ignorant. I'm was curious as to where they are taking the E7's out of ORD, for various reasons I don't see a need to justify to you.
I believe YOU are part of the problem on these forums and if you act the same way you type, you are ALSO part of the problem in this industry. Same applies to you PerpetualFlyer.
Respect peoples points of views and questions -- You don't know where they came from or especially who they are.
So. Chill. It's just a forum ... a place where the koolaid is puked, rumors are better than a soap opera, and where people once in a while is given a righteous answer.

Why such an interest in the ERJ map?
If you want to know out of ord...you'll see lots of sfo, yyc, msp, Dfw, Bos, and iad

Thanks. We do IAD and DCA??
It's not for destination as a destination. I wanted to know how much they are stretching these things. It could say quite a bit as to the direction of the company or industry as a whole, considering the other E7's flown by other contractors.
Is it official that SFO and ORD are the only 2 bases *right now*?
Also, can anyone in plain English explain this whole re-flow and EFB business?
