Uh wow. Sure beats my stagnation as the last class from 2005

Whoops, public math. It's been 52 days, so about 1.6 spots/day

Any updates on E7 bases and reserve times? Also, anyone know what the commute from MCO to ORD is like?

It's ORD. It's a weather and traffic and ground service nightmare. I commuted there for a grand total of 4 weeks on an 'easy' route (SFO) and I would rather stab my eyes out with a rusty spork before doing that again. Two of my captains missed all their commute flights in.

MCO is a little tough but not impossible you always have MDW too.

I tried that once when I couldn't get on UA out of SFO. Took SWA from OAK to MDW. Then it took me 2:10 to get from MDW to ORD. Good thing my show was the next morning.

I don't know how guys commute long-term. I just don't. I take my hat off (not that I wear a hat) to anyone who can do it.

I don't personally do it but I know alot of people that do do it successfully. Using spirit is key, some drive to TPA as well. Two legging through charlotte is a good second option because US air fly Airbus down there with two jumps

Calm down Francis. You spent a whole grand total of 4 weeks in ORD? Granted, during probably the worst month this year for winter weather? I'm based here, it's not THAT bad.

Not to mention that SFO-ORD is hub to hub for United. Those typically don't end well even with all the extra frequency.

Thanks for the replies. Anyone currently living in base at ORD? If so, what's it like? Cost of living?

On another note - What is the route map on the E7 out of ORD looking like right now and how easy is it to break through min?

Thanks in advance.
