EAS isnt going anywhere, most of these communities are represented by GOP who want it gone until their people complain to them that they have to drive 3 hours from PIR to FSD now to get to DEN just to connect from there. Not all these examples are a mere 40 mile drive like the folks in Lancaster. Alot of times its cheaper to fly from these EAS airports, for example a flight from JMS to DEN was 395 and FAR to DEN was about 520.

Close but 100% wrong. There was a vote on a paypackage that included a 700 pay override provision, it was sold by SAPA as a formality, since there were no 700s visible. They ended the paypackage vote 4 hours early, and announced a whole bunch of 700s that morning. SAPA is Skywest's advertizing agency, they pimp whatever Jerry, Mike want at that moment in time. Jerry probably moved those 700s over to teach you a lesson, scare the natives so to speak.

I just saw a Mesa CRJ-200 in SJC on Sunday, and it was a SkyWest airframe! We parked that one a while ago, 407SW painted in all white and it pulled up to an American/ US Air gate. That plane is Way OLD. As in it was one of the original 10 at SkyWest, manufacture date of 1992 if I'm not mistaken.

There ya go, it was to "teach" you guys a lesson. Jerry also told me to my face that "I don't see a future for turbojets at Skywest" during EMB120 ground school. Short of testifying in court under oath, management will say whatever they think, will make a point. You guys still have 700s? Don't listen to them, follow the money. If you don't think that they regularly sit down with UAL/DAL execs and discuss how to manipulate the process, PM me, I have a great, low mileage bridge for sale.

Believe me, I know regional management will take an audience with mainline management anytime it can, but it doesn't mean the outcome will be any different. They can try and manipulate anything they want but the regional flying is shrinking as mainline grows.

Seattle Reserve Times
I just got awarded SEA for March (yay!). And the PBS page doesn't specify the start/end times. Is the AM reserve in SEA the same as in other cities (900-2100)? I could wait for it to hit Sked+, but I'm anxious to know . Thanks!
