You can however publicly discuss (and name) persons whose position (or own actions) tend to make them of public interest. (ex. CEO's, senior managers, company Chief Pilots, Global Girl, Timmay). However if such a person (say a CP) has an anonymous APC account you cannot publicly "out" that person's account (although you can talk about them by name all you want).
So Anita is fair game. Of course all the usual libel laws apply, you cannot threaten anyone, and if the company finds out who YOU are, they are within their legal rights to discipline/fire you if they don't like what you say. Additionally APC will not allow you to threaten/endanger anyone's security, so you can't post Anita's home address, or anything like that.

I think there's a lot going on behind the scenes that you don't see that is being aimed at fixing long-standing issues around here. Its the perfect time to tie up loose ends while the industry goes through this large lull. And that requires change. Unfortunately, its the kind of change that makes people feel like its no longer the Mom-and-Pop's airline it was back in the golden days. And the reality is, its not.
Probably didn't answer your question. But that's my opinion of things.

Someone should sound the alarm down in SGU... On-time performance was terrible in December, just beating out Envoy which took the worst spot. SkyWest came in 11 out of 12 with only 67.2% of flights operating on-time. ExpressJet came in ranked 6 out of 12 with 76.0% of flights operating on-time, edging out United mainline that came in at 72.4%.
ExpressJet outperforming the almighty SkyWest should be alarming to those down in the desert.
I guess all those pep-talks from MT about, "just keep performing, and our partners will reward us," isn't exactly working.

MOD INPUT: You cannot ever publicly identify an anonymous member of APC against their wishes (unless they self-identify first).

My point, if I were trying to make one, is that most guys / gals at OO recognize they will never be rich working here. The majority of pilots who have been here for awhile have enjoyed a decent schedule and have earned a livable wage as they should. However, the current schedules are inefficient. The inefficiencies are negatively impacting the QOL for senior pilots (and of course the junior ones). In a few months when these pilots time out, the poor scheduling practices will negatively impact their pocket book.
I understand there are difficulties associated with writing efficient schedules. I understand the scheduling software is antiquated. I understand OO doesn't get a good lead time from DL, UA, AA and it's difficult to develop efficient schedules. I understand FAR 117 is difficult. I understand. But I do not care that it is difficult.
Shooting a single engine non-precision approach to minimums is difficult, but I guarantee their is not one pilot among us who would call in and say, "Hey, this is really hard so you're SOL." We as pilots do our job.
As someone who is likely to be subjected the inefficiencies associated with scheduling in the near future I expect those given the responsibility of writing an efficient schedule to DO THEIR JOB!
The result of Anita not doing her job is the guys who have been here for 20 years submitting applications. Maybe that's the plan.
