I have a class date at the end of March at SkyWest. Just curious how things are looking. I'd like to get PHX, but I'm not sure what the wait time is to get there.

There's no real way to predict when all of that might slow down. Buckle in and enjoy the roller coaster.

Moderately junior (transfer awarded within a few months): IAH, COS, SLC, TUS and more recently LAX and SFO.
Most senior (1+ year to hold): SEA, PDX, PHX, FAT, PSP. These are all small bases and west coast which is mostly why they're so senior. SEA is growing and due to the growth has gone much more junior recently.
The most junior FO in PHX is a 05/2013 hire. TUS is more junior with the bottom FO being a 06/2014 hire.
LAX, SFO and SLC tend to be wild card bases. They're all huge bases and once in a while they swing extremely junior, and other times they become senior.

Most junior (get them right out of training): MSP, ORD, DEN

Congrats and welcome aboard!
IMO, avoid the ejet like the plague regardless of where you want to be based. Last few bids have shown senior people start to bid over. Though they may hold a line now, new hires on the erj will spend eons on reserves? New hires are going to SFO but TG himself said they could be displaced if it came down to it with the scaling back on the bro. If you want the jet in the future, you can always bid over later.
Anyway, since you want Seattle I wouldn't even think twice about it. The ejet lines will likely go super senior, as there is already a substantial bid list for Seattle erj already.

Since I'm typing on a phone this will be short but I'd actually suggest the 175 if you live in Chicago. QOL is much better IMO on it than the CRJ. At a year in it's just about impossible to hold any 7/9 pairings and most of the 200 pairings are incredibly inefficient. On average during the slow months I've seen myself at 11 days off holding mostly 4-5:30 credit locals with 4/6 legs. Whereas the 175 type of flying nets you longer leg lengths and less legs. To me that's more desirable, but the give up is more 4 days and less locals on the 175's. I'm ok with that though because I've found myself much more tired doing 4-6 days straight of locals and only having 2 days off between blocks of 6 days on.

Hey buddy, lax, SFO, den, cos, and iah all going very junior right now. Along with msp and ord as usual. You could hold lax and SFO within 3-4 months of training and den or cos even sooner, based on my experiences so far. This may change with bro transitions. So far the extra crj flying we have picked up, erj expansion, and attrition have more than made up for the bro transitions but they haven't really amped it up yet. We will see!

While I don't agree with the extremity of the guys posts he makes good points. Especially regarding reserve, people are sitting reserve 1-2 months at most right now. It takes a solid year to see even half of the tricks. Reserve at SKW needs to be fixed, just because reserve times are running short right now and most new hires escaped without much pain doesn't mean we should forget how some of our reserve rules are written or enforced.
It's actually refreshing to hear a Senior Captain understand how reserve really works. Half the guys I fly with didn't spend more than a few months on reserve and were more than willing to pass the phone over to you.
