Our FO pay scale is actually one of the few things that's pretty industry leading at Skywest. Our 2nd year FOs make more than the top of the pay scale at RAH, Mesa, Endeavor and GoJet. The only two companies that are close to our pay scale are Expressjet and Compass.

Is SBP still a base? If so, is it more junior or senior?

Maybe 2 years for SLC RSV. Movement isn't from captains, but for FOs upgrading in MSP and ORD.

Our FO pay is poor for first year, and good after that. However, a lot of perspective pilots are willing to overlook 2nd yr and beyond FO pay when competitors like Mesa, Compass, PSA and whoevers next are offering quick upgrades. I think our diverse domiciles are a primary selling point.

It's still a base but it's only a Brasilia base and they haven't hired into the Brasilia in almost a year.

There is nothing industry leading about skywest pay scales. You can't compare our second year pay to the other regionals unless you wanna consider our crap reserve rules, lack of retirement, and overpriced health insurance.

A Burger King employee has better retirement than we have at OO.

I'm pretty a Burger King employee has better retirement than any regional pilot.

Are you saying the other regionals have it better because they don't. I never said we had good retirement. I said our pay and benefits are at the top end compared to other regionals. Crappy retirement and healthcare plans are universal among all regionals.

Just throwing it out there, health care is pretty good at PSA and piedmont. Significantly better than Skywest and Republic.

I would be curious to know what benefits PSA offers. However, that is hardly a justification for the concessions you guys took when AA is posting record breaking profits quarter after quarter.
