If you meet the qualifications and don't have any red flags, they will contact you eventually. We're not Mesa (yet), we aren't hoovering up everything with a pulse. If memory serves, a recent update from management said that they had approximately 1300 applicants this year, of which roughly half were interviewed, and of those interviewed again roughly half (just over 300) were hired. If you know someone who works here, have them email or call the recruiting team to offer a recommendation on your behalf, but calling them yourself just to see why they haven't called you would probably be poor form.

I have no idea what's really going on in the training pipeline, so grain of salt here please... But IF rumors are accurate, we may be seeing a large number of people switching airframes in the spring. That alone might reduce the number of newhires we need for awhile. Or not.
So the April 15 rumor is true then?

What are the "junior" domiciles? Can you get any base out of training? or where are the new hires ending up? Hoping for Denver

MSP ORD as a new hire it would do you good to read back through the last dozen or pages of this thread.

Possibly, but doubt all at once. Seems weird that they'd claim to be working on an AQP program for sometime in 2015 the 120 if it has six months to live... on the other hand, management claims we could have CQ for the 175 by the end of the year, so if it is that easy why drag it out on the aircraft we've had for almost 30 years and have plenty of experience in. No new classes, no new programs, lots of maintenance issues... It isn't terribly hard to read between the lines. The plane serves a distinct purpose and it will be a bit sad to see it go, but it won't last forever, and with our renewed push on "operational reliability", the aircraft is working more against us rather than for us these days.

I would say the E120 is on a 24 + or - month draw down program... Use the pilots to staff the E175 and any Delta 200's we take on...
The E120 training department is down to 1 guy... (Plus sim /CQ ) should tell you a lot. This just happened this week..

Latest news is that 11 in our class (myself included) will be waiting a while for sims due to sim availability. The other 28 folks will start FTD/Sims the day after Systems ends. I would not be surprised if the same thing happens to the October class(es).

We've also heard that 2 October classes are happening...one CRJ, one ERJ.

That's all the news for now...

Take it with a grain of salt since I'm just a nameless guy on the internet but I asked TG during appreciation week what was happening with the Brasilia and he said they were on a 24 month program to get rid of it that could be accelerated if needed. He was pretty straight forward about it.

Latest pay cut, Delta Dental is going to PPO, looks like I will be switching to my dogs dentist....come on over, you have lots of teeth. Looks like Mike needs to impress Jerry so instead of fixing the problems, he mines some cash from the employee group.
