maybe they will stop asking so many turbine related questions as to which stage the acu's are on in the interview. you know logical instrument questions instead of technical about the airplane you HAVNT flown yet? just a thought...

They know people read the gouges. It may be some useless information but anyone failing the technical clearly didn't care enough about the interview to study the gouges. It wouldn't surprise me if that's what they're testing for and weeding out.

Study up buddy, otherwise it's to Mesa you go.
that was actually kinda funny. good job fb. however i wouldnt consider mesa a punishment.

every airline knows they read the gouges. its no secret. but skywest is asking new hires about the airplane they dont even know about yet! other airlines are more sensical with basic questions like when do you need an alternate know the 123 rule etc. and how are they filling classes if just a few posts ago someone said they are hurting for pilots?

Not hurting at all.

The company YTD has hired 25% of the applicants. That's not "hurting" in the least bit.

I have no idea what's going on with Alaska, but the Extended over Water stuff just deals with flights that are greater than 50nm from shore. There may be some routes up and down the coast that could operate farther than that.

Nice one.

Whatever question you answer in the interview, they will raise the bar a notch just to see where you are in terms of knowledge.
