Where would they get the 900's , they don't make them anymore unless you already have firm orders on the books. Possibly ASA or more likely pinnacle (you can change the name all you want, they're still pinnacle and eagle is eagle) unless they can find some in a foreign country (unlikely)

In my opinion that would be unlikely. Endeavor's cost structure is a lot cheaper than ASA's to operate the 900's and their performance is good. Additionally, staffing is currently not an issue with their plan to operate 81 900's. My guess is that their maybe some shuffling from within the Inc. system for the 900's and ASA might get some of the Endeavor 200's they are parking. In any case I'm amazed at tone of excitement I hear in regards to getting more 900's that would undoubtedly cause hardships on other pilot groups and especially when one is part of Skywest. That right there is a good example of what's wrong with the regional industry

Fact of the matter is, it sucks for those who lose airplanes. It sucks even worse for those who lose airplanes due to someone undercutting them.
We haven't done the latter so it really is out of our hands as pilots. It's unfortunate for any who lose the flying, but if we didn't change anything by undercutting them, feel bad is all we can do, we had no say in it.

Refusing new flying in order to 'do what's right' just means someone else is going to take it while our upgrade time increases. It's a noble thought but no one is going to do it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Lately though, that attitude is coming from only a handful of regionals.
