What part of the company didn't want to pay line holders cancellation pay so they made them reserves for a couple of months doesn't go along with your version.
What other airline held back from the bid a significant portion of their previously scheduled flying.
And you're the guy that's not a pilot right? Never spent a day on reserve or held a regular line, nor know the difference between the two.

I really think if a union vote was held tomorrow it would likely pass. I'm a old timer and I would vote yes. Many of the old votes I didn't. That being said, I think ALPA absolutely sucks for the regionals. The thing is, that many of the people I talk to that have been here for decades are feeling the same way........

Two different questions.
Do you want a binding contract? And....
Would a union vote pass is merging with XJT was included?

You are absolute moron. What exactly is the whole story? A significant amount of flights were withheld from the bids in order to not have to pay crews cancellation pay on flights that were not going to operate. How is that ethical?

Bottom line is SkyWest pilots are sliding backwards. In a game of inches there are very small retreats that add up to big concessions that take away from us.
Example; we are paid on credit, not block to block, but credit. Everything is set on credit time. Your BHO is credit as well as any time and a half. So with that in mind realize the company can adjust an hour flight down by just 3 minutes and get their 5% pay concession from you.
Another example; look at what has been done to the crews out of SFO, to avoid paying cancellation pay, many we're put on reserve. Did any other airlines with SFO bases do that to their crews?
The answer is no, not one.
