The January 23rd RJ class is already on the seniority list. 22 new hires so I'm assuming 8 transitions to make it a nice even 30 (though could be 18 or something). We were told from an instructor there were another 30 on the RJ in February sometime but I have no idea the breakdown of new hire to transitions. As far as Brasilia classes go, other than the one that started two weeks ago, the only one I know anything about is from a friend who was told to expect April 3rd. You gotta think there'd be some between now and then but I haven't personally heard anything about them. Talked to a guy going to interview this morning on the shuttle with us to the training center and he said they told him when he was scheduling his interview if he didn't come in January he'd have to wait until April. So all that seems to check out.
Oh and if anyone is keeping score, the expected attrition number we were quoted for this year is 120. No idea how accurate that would even be though.

I'm glad I have a class date (March 5th, Bro). What kinds of numbers does it look like they will hire this year???

Negative, the SEA Job Fair was cancelled due to weather. Hiring will continue but at a slower pace until next year starts to shape up (attrition, block hours, etc.).
The majority who start class over the next 4 months will be on the EMB side due to transitioning EMB FOs to the RJ.

10-12 Pilots a month seems reasonable for a company as big as 00. I would not be surprised to see it edge little higher by year end.

I was recently awarded a 4/3 CRJ transition, so there will be an RJ class then as well. Well, hopefully anyway! I need the pay raise...
