Odd.. Most people I know at other airlines don't have their systems come to a screeching halt when the bids go into Sked+. They also don't seem to have issues with PBS on a monthly basis that require either re-running the bids or pulling the bid awards offline. I'm not sure what there would be to miss about it.

Says the biggest SkyWest fanboy EVER!! Do you have any aspirations to you know, move on to bigger and better things? Or have you hit the pinnacle of your career? If you would just put half the energy into something other than making the rest of us look bad or trying to make OO seem like the greatest thing EVER, you could probably do pretty good for yourself.

Would you say the same exact thing to JA? Why didn't he ever leave and go on to something bigger and better? If SkyWest absolutely blows, why don't you just accept that job offer over the phone from Mesa and do everyone here at SkyWest that actually enjoys the place a huge favor.
I really do like Skywest and from talking to my friends at other regionals it seems like Skywest is an amazing place to work compared to their situations. If you think it's a great company for the crewmembers you need to take a look at the FO and FA pay scales, and take a look at the upgrade times though. Even the best regionals are still regionals.

Because Mesa would be a lateral move. Someone saying they want to leave the company doesn't necessarily mean they'd be willing to apply to another regional. I'm sure just about every person in this thread would accept a job offer on the phone from United, American or Delta and leave tomorrow without looking back.

Reserve always sucks but its certainly could be worse or better, depending on who you are comparing to. There is something to be said for accountability though. When the rules can be changed for good (sweet talkers that get bubba deals at another's detriment) or bad (when they just do whatever it takes to you in order to move metal), it's even suckier. For me, I don't mind them making me work when it's within the rules but the second they don't follow them, it feels unfair and that feeling is not nice.

And I work in Corporate. I have never hid that fact. I like St. George. I like SkyWest. I have absolutely no interesting in working in downtown Chicago (unless I turn suicidal). Or the hood in Atlanta. Or having a Texas flag shoved in my face at every turn. If I absolutely must feel my life could be in danger walking down a street or driving through a neighborhood, I can drive 90 mins to Las Vegas. I know people who have commutes about that long in the afore mentioned three cities. So don't act like a 90 min drive to Las Vegas once in a while is a huge burden.

Because he owns the whole ****ing place? Nobody said SkyWest blows but it certainly isn't the end all be all as you like to flaunt. You go around and try to throw it in the face of ExpressJet, Compass, and Mesa posting route maps and stats like anyone really cares. At the end of the day a regional is still a regional. Just quit making the rest of us look bad.
