Another +1 for that! We hit the bottle a couple nights a week after we studied, and it was a great way to relax and shoot the bull. But you can have too much of a good thing.

WHAT!!?? I was just in recurrent last week and ate there on Monday the 9th! That's too bad, it actually was pretty good food and decently priced. Not to mention the only decent eating establishment around the Candlewood and Comfort Suites. Guess I'll be eating at that sketchy diner across the way from Lofte's from now on . Bummer!

They need to hurry up and finish that light rail system. That'll make training events much easier to stomach.

@flyherethere Hopefully you are holding on in class. Pretty much EVERYONE that goes through ground school feels that way. Use the materials they give you and most importantly don't be afraid to hit up your classmates. This is a crew environment and they expect you to utilize your classmates. Odds are there are a few guys that flew the aircraft in the past and they can help you understand the systems better. 121 ground school is not easy and there aren't any shortcuts. With that said it is very doable if you are persistent.
As for hiring. The doors are NOT closed. Skywest is hiring at least through June from what I heard.
