not sure about in minni, but standups on the west coast bro are very senior because they are a lot of credit for very little time and work. 2-3 a week and you have a high credit month

el, yeah it makes sense. My bank account is small but I am just trying to do some short term financial planning. It sounds like 90 ish hours can be expected, but like everyone the first year will be tough so I am considering options to keep a ZERO balance on my credit card, 2nd job or fly on days off is inevitable.

I'm not sure which west coast bro base you mean. Stand ups for Bro crews in LAX and SFO were generally loathed and were preferred by one or two senior folks while the rest ended up being forced on the junior folks' schedules. They stopped putting them in the LAX bids because there was trouble getting them covered due to a lot of call outs of one form or another. Many resulted in fatigue calls because they were forced on at the beginning or the end of a 4 day trip. On the RJ as I understand it, there are some "good" stand ups that pay well and allow for a reasonable amount of sleep and the rest are not so good and end up forced on the junior folk. Locals tend to like the good ones if they can get them and have families/side jobs but if you're a commuter or drive from any appreciable distance, stand ups can be a PITA.

@MoovenUP, How long did it take between your interview and your class date offer?

Hey buddy, got your message, congratulations and welcome aboard. I tried pm'ing you but can't do it as you've turned that off. No news on class dates. I'll see you there though! Like the others said, don't let the negativity scare you. I chose OO for the exact same reasons you did and I had more than 2 offers on the table.
