Hey guys, not to derail too much... I quite enjoy the current discussion, just wondering if anybody knows the class dates for October? Just tying to plan ahead a little.

thanks

Just curious where would a #123 number put you on the seniority list these days?

Right around the low 400s (415-420ish) overall from the looks of things.

classes every 4 weeks, last class I saw announced was 7/28. So quick glance at a calendar would put next start dates at 8/25, 9/22, 10/20.....just a guess but maybe this info will help?

Yeah, there's an 8/25 and 9/22 class. The 6/30, 7/28, and 8/25 classes are both CRJ and EMB175 (I think). As of now the 9/22 class is only CRJ but that may change. No word on a 10/20 class as of yet.

Of course, this was the info I got yesterday, so it may have changed. But in mid-April I was told of the 9-22 class, and that date has remained constant since mid-April.

obviously there's been a rumor for a while that skywest has been "sitting on" an announcement for a while, but my friend at skw said they have recently gotten 100% of the CRJ sim time in SLC, and bought crj sim time in cincy, and miami. can anyone confirm this? sounds like planning for growth/ more new hires than normal

I'm not sure you'll see any "big" news for awhile. Most of the SkyWest management is in ATL trying to rebuild the house of cards over there. Maybe more towards September after that project is over and the summer schedule has wound down.

All the announcements for flying lately have been for 2015 and beyond and there is no hurry at this point to announce anything.

I heard Inc. was planning on buying B6 and merging them with EV.
