Let's see where to starts.
Vfe - speed with flaps extended which is 215 kts
Vfo - speed while operating the flaps which is 200 kts.
You see back in my day when I started on the RJ 200 VFo did not exist. To drive the flaps you simply had to be at 215 kts. Then bombardier decided that to avoid the many flap fails on the 200 it was better on the flaps to slow to 200 kts to operate them. So in order to operate the flaps for 8 and 20 you need to be at 200 kts. Once they are down you can increase speed to 215. You only need to be at 200 kts while the flap are physically moving from 0 to 8 and from 8 to 20. Once they are no longer moving you can increase to 215 until you are ready to drop the from 20 to 30 and so on. There is no VFo for 30 and 45. It is the same speed as VFe.
Now Vb and Mb. These are turbulence penetration speeds. When experiencing turbulence these are the speeds to slow to to avoid having you wings ripped off.
Vadg- speeds with the air driven generator deployed (the **** has hit the fan) your adg provides emergency electrical power in case of a total electrical system failure. There are two types of ADG on the 200. Wet and dry. Wet is the older style and has to be operated at a slower speed. Dry is a newer style which can be operated all the way to Mmo.
Hope this helps.

Thank you sir, really appreciate the insight!
And for the poster of the Oprah pics - thank you for the no-kidding laugh out loud! The wife had to come in and see what I was laughing about. Well played!

Here is my perspective on DEN. I was a Jan new hire assigned MSP. I completed IOE in DEN in April and was awarded DEN for May. The top two DEN requests from the Jan class where awarded. There were several more wanting DEN that are still waiting as there were no FO awards for DEN in June or July. Since there are no reserve FO's in the DEN July bid (package targeted 193 line holders for 190 bidders), there will likely be DEN awards for Aug.
There is movement in the company - last I looked I was up 116 numbers from start with 176 behind me - just nothing much in DEN yet.
This is simply my experience, your mileage may vary.

Embraer decides to spill some beans:
Embraer SA said another wave of 70-seater regional jet orders in the U.S. is on the horizon that will help bridge production to a new plane family due from 2018.
New U.S. orders could emerge in the next two to three years for the Brazilian plane maker’s E175 model, said Paulo César de Souza e Silva, who heads the commercial airplane unit.
“There is a huge need there to replace 50-seaters,” he said during a conference call from Brazil. He added that replacing aging 70-seat jets in the U.S. offers further sales opportunities.
“There might be 300 aircraft needed in the U.S. between 2015 and 2018/2019,” Mr. César said.

Then you have not been on the 200 from the beginning because when we first got it the speed was 230 kts.
Flaps 30 was 195 kts IIRC
Flaps 45 was 183 kts IIRC

I interviewed last week and was told I could expect a call! It's not official yet but I'm pretty excited about the potential of joining you OOers. Anyone in the E175 out in ORD (or anyone with some knowledge of how the operation is working out and the schedule) willing to PM me? I have a couple questions. Thanks!
