How long are people waiting before getting an interview? I know classes are backed up quite a bit, but is this affecting how soon one can expect to get an invite?

It took about three weeks for me to get a call after submitting on airline apps. The recruiter only gave me two days to choose from and told me they would not be interviewing again until April. I also saw someone who posted a gouge on aviationinterviews.com who interviewed in December and posted he wasn't starting class for the CRJ until August........

Can confirm that after talking with "pilot recruiting" today after putting in a rec for a friend who is applying that:
- Skywest will continue to interview in January, but after Jan, they will start back up in April and that will be hiring into a pool.
Just like those that turned down classes in 2008, the best advice is to take the first class offered, maybe even request the bro if its first avail., and gain seniority, first year pays the same regardless of equipment.
