I should clarify it's really just swapping days off I'm not getting 20 days a month, but like I said I make it work to my benefit. I've been on reserve at 3 airlines while it's not perfect it's much better here than other places.

We don't have anybody furloughed, he's perfectly within his right to pick stuff up. Besides, we are anything but "well staffed" even with him picking up trips.

Gotcha. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Yes. 0 reserve lines in MSP this month on FO side. Pretty bare bones everywhere else, especially for June.

So what happens when everyone isn't willing to pick up open time? They either have to go to 200% or cancel or bring more people in. If capt's were to stop you would see more upgrades.

They'll cancel, I've heard guys say they asked for 200% were denied and the flight canceled for lack of crew.

Looking at your post history, you seem to do nothing but complain in every post about every airline. It's your life, but I just can't imagine you're a very happy person. Maybe try logging out for awhile, and get some fresh air and exercise? It beats stroking out at an early age...

It just did happen, and was far from the first time. Maybe you're new and haven't had the chance to get tired of the BS? The excuse we always get is that we get the garbage with one pack, no APU, etc. because we're in a MX base. Maybe you're not(in a MX base)? Looking at your post history, you've got more posts than me, so maybe you're the one who needs to get some fresh air and exercise?

P.S. Extremely happy in my home life, thanks for caring.

I've been here long enough to be based on two different types, based in two different MX bases, and have flown the line at this place for over 3 years. I worked all over the industry as a pilot before coming here as well. That's long enough to see the warts, and more importantly it has given me the perspective to know what is worth getting uptight about.

As far as the post count, uh... You do realize I've been registered on this forum quite a bit longer than you have right?

Continue being negative, it's really not my problem. But I'm telling you it's not worth it. Change your situation, your job, your career, etc. I've been there myself, and it was horrible. I'm very thankful I was able to change my situation.

I sincerely hope you find improvement in your life - and I guarantee you the occasional MEL won't ruin your day ever again.
