So Skywest pulled the application process from airline apps it looks like. For those interested in applying go to the Skywest website.

Ain't that the truth. That was your airbus job flying up the river.
From one regional guy to another, I think not enough regional guys look at the pay and contracts most majors work under. Once you get a real idea what the disparity is, you'll see how you are nothing but a subsidy. More than 1/2 the regional guys are lifers but just don't know it yet.

Anyone else have issues with the Skywest application site having hiring minimums higher than the mins posted on skywest.com? Specifically 100 hours of instrument time vs. 75.

Hey all. Starting CRJ class in a couple weeks. I know I need a headset for the sim. What else do I need for training? Do I need a flight case/luggage before training, or can those things wait? Money is tight so the more I can spread these costs out the better.

Airside set for the RJ so don't worry about a flight case. As for a headset, just use a cheap telex or anything else you've been using ie DC's. Welcome!
