SWOL -> Operations -> PBS -> Bid Info

It's updated for each month after the bids go online and shows targeted, guaranteed and reserve lines per domicile.

Hey rcfd, you might know the answer to this:

If I'm on RSV 9am-9pm and they put a trip on me the day before I start my 4 day bucket and the trip starts at 6pm on the first day, do I have to have my phone on at 9am tomorrow in case they want to call and change something? Or can I assume I won't get in trouble if I decide to sleep in since I've acknowledged the trip on Skedplus?

It's been a long time since I've been on reserve so someone can probably correct me on this. From what I remember it's kind of a gray area. You can sleep in, but I would still have your phone on so at the very least you can look online and see what they're trying to do if they call you. Most likely they won't have you acknowledge a 6pm start and then try to change your show time to 11am though. You're probably safe but I wouldn't recommend just turning your phone off. I also wouldn't recommend picking up your phone either though. That's why it's a gray area.

Be careful just acknowledging everything. CS will throw things against the wall and see what sticks. They'll work you late on the 9-9, later than if they actually called you at 9am.

If if you acknowledged it, you are not eligible for notification until check in...unless you are on a different RAP.

I've been on 4-4 reserve before and had them put a trip with a 5am show time on day 1. I decided not to acknowledge and assumed they'd call me at 4am and give me a 6am show time. They ended up just taking the trip off my schedule, not calling me, and I got the day off. I assume they put it on every reserves schedule and waited to see who would actually acknowledge it. I don't think it's usually in most people's benefit to acknowledge things on their off days unless it's something they really want to do.

I always make them call me, it starts the clock when you're on AM reserve and many of the assignments the night before like you talked about "disappear" by the morning.

When they call and ask you to notify the night before it's not because they "don't want to wake you up" like they say. It's because they have plans that are outside of what they could normally assign you and are hoping you'll just click the button.

absolutely, this applies to any company. don't do screw scheduling favors unless it benefits you! they will never remember and help you out in return regardless of what company you work for!

Eh I wouldn't go that far. Skywest CS has been great about working with me while I was commuting. They have given me an early release every single time I've called and asked for it so I could make it home on the last day. Thanks for the advice rcfd and nopantsils!
