Looks like you might want to check your six.
The SkyWest Airlines Pilot Association also stated that reducing FDP (Flight Duty Period) based on
the number of flight segments disproportionately affected regional air carriers.
The SkyWest Airlines Pilot Association similarly asked the FAA to increase the FDP limits to avoid disproportionately impacting regional air carrier pilots.

I talked to a friend in the training center the other day and he did indicate that they were slowing down training to only one class per month. I would imagine that SkyWest will be back to hiring at full stean this spring when more of our pilots start getting hired on at the majors. I'd also imagine that once that flood gate opens that SkyWest will be hiring for a good decade straight. But thats just my own speculation.

Saturday, I flew one of our Alaska painted 700s from FAT-SEA after it came out of MX. I then took the branded 200 back to SLC as a spare. Looks like the 200s are substituting the 700 for MX reasons. Hope that answers your question.

I am surprised no one commented on that little statement from the SkyWest pilot association, buried deep in the new rest rule description. I read it and was thinking to myself, why in the world would they make a statement like that if they are supposed to be representing pilots? I was going to put a thread up about it, but I figured it would be too inflammatory. Seems to me the SkyWest pilots might want to reconsider the leadership of their association or whatever it is!

The reason for their position is because we will lose productivity, which in terms means more time away from base for the same pay. Unfortunately, being that sapa has as much leverage as a student body council, they will not be able to negotiate a higher min daily credit or trip rig.
