The FA I was just flying with had no idea how to use PBS and ended up with a reserve line as a commuter even though she was within targeted line holders. People junior to her got lines. She was angry and asked me to look at her bid and it took me 2 seconds to figure out why she got reserve. Had she known even a slight bit about how to bid she would have had a full line with more days off and more pay.

The PBS line awards must be out by 9am on the 20th of each month, then on sked+ by the 24th at 8pm. The vacancy awards are typically posted around 5-6 of each month. The June DVR should be out in a little over a week.

Houston is attainable but the 175 will not be based there. Mesa is getting some 175 flying out of IAH. Its about 80% -700 flying and rest is -200. So you'll def fly the 700 more often being based there.

The breakdown doesn't matter because even over 2 years seniority in ORD I never fly the 700. I've flown less than 40 hours total in the 700 and most of those hours I picked up on open time. They weren't awarded. I've never once flown the 900. You won't see the 700/900 for a long time if you're new in ORD.

More a curiosity thing I can care less what plane I'm in. They did schedule me OOE in the 900 so I'm assuming that they want people qual'd just in case.

They will get you qualified in the 900s cause you will be a reserve first and Will get TDY all over creation to cover flying at domiciles that are not properly staffed.
