Hey there Colonel,
It's your friendly CRM partner here It was a pleasure meeting you and the rest of the guys. I ended up not having to do the sim…during the debrief they told me to expect an offer this week.
Totally agree with you on your assessment of the interview.
For anyone who's planning on a SkyWest interview, make sure you are sharp on sim procedures using old-style steam gauges and raw data (no GPS, no glass, etc…it's a Frasca.) And also make sure you study the gouge…which, fortunately, is spot-on accurate.

For those of you who didn't do well on the sim ride, I'm really sorry. Those things are finicky and quite tough to fly. You should have seen me in Brasilia upgrade after flying the an automated glass A/C for 7 years, it sure wasn't pretty. Good luck, don't let it get you down.

Does Skywest make you do the sim if your 135/121 current?
