How long did it take to hear back after your interview that you had been accepted?
Once again congratulations. Skywest is one of the good ones for sure.

well at the interview he asked me if I could attend a class that Monday and I said no because I had to give two weeks. Long story short is they told me at the interview and about 5 days later I got stuff for class. Fun interview and good people, but every time I was on a SKW jumpseat they where always stand up folks.

Things can easily change overnight. I personally wouldn't want to be stuck at Mesa of all places when they do change. They're offering unsolicited class dates over the phone to people who applied years ago. That kind of company culture just sounds embarrassing and unprofessional to me.

Is that you Fozjared? I would actually go where you feel is best for you. My only advice is don't commute

Not chasing an upgrade. If choosing between Skywest and Mesa in the current environment, I'd choose Mesa. They're adding planes and Skywest has 90+ planes coming off contract in two years.
Mesa isn't that bad when you have a line. Reserve on the jet is running 1.5 - 2 years on the jet at Skywest.
Personally, I think Skywest is a better company to work for, but if a young pilot is looking to get his/her time and get out, Mesa is the better choice.
