Wait, sorry for the beginner question but the 20/20 you mentioned does that mean 20 e120 and 20 CRJ?
They told me I was in an e120 class and sent me e120 study materials for the January class, but in the interview they said if they need rj pilots they'll put me in a class for that, but they won't decide until the day of class. Anyone know how this works? It doesn't matter to me which one I get just curious.

I would call now and ask. Don't wait until the last minute.

My trips are all fairly low paying trips. 3 four days and a two day. only 72 hours credit. They had to give me a reserve day to make it up. Im pretty junior in Houston (81%) Not very commutable at all but I live in base so not an issue. No 30hour layovers so thats good.

Junior line holder. Trips are pretty good. A lot better than a lot of the junior bases. Mostly 700 flying. I have seen a few new hires in Houston as of late. I was hired Dec 2011 and had to wait 10 months to get in. So its going more junior.

Nevets,
One FACT you fail to understand or acknowledge is that a large share of SkyWest stock is held by its employees. I'd also bet that our pilots own the largest %age, as a group, of that stock.
In other words, we are the shareholders!

So even though we fly the same equipment to some of the same bases as the other regional airlines we are blind spectators? Even though we have one of the higher end pay scales and some of the better work rules we are blind spectators? Even though in my class we had a number of mesa and pinnacle guys come to SkyWest who were talking about how much of an improvement it was, we are spectators? An ex-Mesa FO got paid more in his second year at SkyWest than he did at 4th year Mesa FO pay. We are actually a major part of the show. We are competing for the same contracts so how can you call us blind spectators? We are the ones not being asked to take pay cuts. If you want to keep racing to the bottom then maybe you're right. That is a show I'd rather be on the sidelines spectating. This place sure isn't perfect but it sure isn't as bad as PSA or Mesa or Pinnacle. I feel like this place, along with Compass or XJET, is an example of how good it could be for airlines like those. I hope some of the other airlines can look to our pay rates and say "we should work towards that." How does that not help the other pilot groups' cause to get better pay and work rules?

While others are taking concessions the new pay package presented for a pilot vote isn't bad with some improvements like medical reimbursement, 5 Golden days ect... What are your guys thoughts?

The new package might barely keep up with inflation if you take into account the medical and uniform allotment increase.
I suppose the seat lock increases are not too big of a deal except for new hire Bro FOs...a lot of them bail for the jet at one year, so that should save the company some coin. At least they gave them a raise for their extra year in Bro land...
