TEX is one example of where the CRJ2 does not have the performance required.

We'll operate TEX when the CR7's come on line with US down the road. Until then US will just codeshare with UAL out of DEN. j/k

Skywest is taking over Mesa's dash 8 flying, will Skywest also be taking over Mesa's CR2 flying for US?

Gents,
What does your crystal ball say regarding the bases/aircraft assignments for January 23 new hire class?
Thanks

A bunch of recent hires have gotten DEN on the jet as well. By next summer you'd probably be able to get any domicile with the exception of SEA, PDX, and perhaps PSP in the jet.

Heard a rumor that most new-hires were swimming in the pool, with January dates bantered about, although any set dates have changed multiple times. Hopefully the music hasn't stopped with AMR's filing.

I was told almost a month ago to expect a 1/30/12 class date when offered the job. About 2 weeks ago a tentative class date email came out confirming 1/30.
Only other communication I got was something yesterday just asking us to be patient and seeing who could be put on a short call list if any class spots open up.
From what I understand there's a lot of internal upgrades and transitions occurring and the new hires are(rightly so) not high on the priority list.
