Right now I've been debating whether to bid for an RJ transition or wait because I have pretty good seniority on the bro. If I knew they planned on running classes for a few months I would wait. If they said they planned to run just one or two more classes then take a break I would definitely bid it now.
I agree. Brad’s spreadsheets were so detailed and accurate you could almost plan your life around them. Using his numbers, all you had to do was pull up the standing bid list and do some simple math to estimate what transition or upgrade class you could hold. And if the training numbers changed he would update the spreadsheet and sent it back out. Brad always kept us in the loop, whereas these days with Klen........ crickets..... But think about all the fun you’re having speculating……

I'm not saying Brad was perfect; we did have our issues with him.

We dealt Brad an Ace... what have we done for Klen to deserve anything in return?

We dealt Brad more than one Ace. PBS, BHO (Brad Holt Override), 2 years of flying CR7s @ CR2 rates and the list goes on.

Thanks for the info guys. I am a bit short on TT so I am assuming thats maybe one of the reasons I haven't been offered an interview. I have heard it is fairly easy to be MSP based on the CRJs. If that is true, that is one of the many reasons why Skywest is a great option for me.

Anyways thanks again, I'll just have to keep updating and hopefully I'll hear something soon.

Is the Portland Brasilia operation pretty stable? If I wanted to stay a PDX FO long term is this a safe bet? Still trying to decide if I want to commute to Jr Horizon bases out of PDX or go with Skywest.

SkyWest is where I would go. There are quite a few PDX EMB120 first officers with their names in for transition to the jet. Once classes get going there will be movement. You may get stuck in FAT for a little while, but PDX is definitely doable in the short term. Also, commuting to Medford or possibly Anchorage from anywhere would be painful. Upgrade time at QX is north of 10 years at this time.

Have an interview on the 6th. Any idea when they are looking to start a class and how hard to commute out of SAT?
