Any update on interviews/class dates?

I have a class date next month at XJT, but would much rather take SW. I haven't heard from anyone at SW since Friday when I got the mandatory questions sheet and returned it late Friday. There's a CRJ class at XJT I might be able to get in this month, but I'm willing to wait for SW if I have a shot.

If you've filled out the mandatory questionnaire, it usually takes about a week once received to schedule an interview. If you don't hear from HR by then, just give them a call making sure they did in fact receive it. I haven't known anyone to get the mandatory questionnaire and not receive an official invite to interview. Good luck

Personally I think it is pretty dumb to turn down a class and put all your eggs in one basket with another airline you haven't even interviewed with. Unless you're ok with where you're at if you get turned down. Where do you live?

That last is the key question. Geography would be the only good reason for passing on XJT vs. SKW.

Just got a call and interview set up. I have a mid August date with XJT and there's an early August date with SKW. If the interview goes well, I could be starting at SKW earlier then I would be able to at XJT, except for the chance of getting in the July XJT class.

I'm in FL, but from GA. I have no interest in living in the East.

Don't give up just yet, Ultralight. If you can make a career out of standing corrected, you'd be filthy rich.

Anyone know if they'll ever startup the 5-day CRJ course again for current/typed folks, or is that not really in the cards with the present staffing situation?

How would you rank the CRJ bases from junior to senior?
