So the answer is, if you stand in line with the masses to interview and get an offer, it'll be for the Brasilia only, unless someone else has new information.
Best of luck to you!

It's sounding like there are no Rj classes to be running for a while, and when they do, new hires won't get the offer. Transition classes will be first.

There was a July 8th (2 days ago) RJ class of 20, and there aren't masses standing in line!
What's wrong with the Brasilia anyway? Same first year pay as the CRJ and you can bid the CRJ after serving a year in the Bro. I'm sure you'll see plenty of senior guys hoping over to the E175's when they arrive, leaving lots of vacancies on the CRJ.

This from the guy that claims 80% of applicants at Republic are rejected!

Not true... You'll see the ERJ go junior for a while anyway. Besides the upper echelon isn't going to bid into ORD or IAH for a shiny new toy, furthermore, the CRJ has more versatility regarding schedules with ability to drop/swap/trade ect... and lets face it, not everyone is willing to give up quality of life for a shiny 175, all those type are over at Republic

Heard today that the company wants a 3 years seat lock to bid the 175. You can upgrade in type but an FO can't take the 175 right seat then upgrade to the crj until the seat lock is up.
If true expect hiring to happen in the right seat of the 175. No FO will take that seat lock knowing a crj upgrade is much more likely to come before a 175 upgrade.

So the guys on the CRJ in ORD and IAH aren't going to bid over to the ERJ? I know I would. Why not add another type to your ticket. I agree though, I doubt the guys based in PDX and SEA will give it up and commute to Chicago. Not even if those E175's are polished with pledge and they get a free Embraer lanyard!
There aren't any "senior" guys in IAH.
