Hilarious how much is being discussed about the coffee. LoL, good stuff.

Hey, good coffee is important. I was ready to take the bus to the airport for Starbucks about halfway through upgrade.

It's a safety of flight issue not having good coffee.

Can a guy coming off Bro seat lock lock DEN on the jet? And when there's been CRJ new hire classes in the past has DEN ever been awarded? Thanks!

Yes but only if there's a vacancies. Currently the most JR FO in DEN has a hire date of 10/01/12 so it stands to reason that after a year you shouldn't have any issues getting into DEN. Most JR in COS has a hire date of 12/31/12.

Yes IF they run transition classes. We have people approaching two years on the bro who haven't been able to transition yet. I've had a bid for Any for 16 months and haven't gotten my transition yet. You would have better luck getting DEN as a junior CRJ FO than banking on getting a transition to DEN from the Bro. Sometimes they just decide to stop running them for years at a time.

I have friends who started on the RJ who were able to get to DEN within a few months. From the bro you'd be looking at 2+ years just to get to DEN.

It's not that they just decide to stop running them for years at a time, it's that they aren't hiring and can't replace those transitioning from the Bro. Once hiring gets going transitions pick up just as you’re starting to see now. BTW, this occurs at every airline and in every industry.

Why would you transition a Bro pilot onto an already well-staffed RJ list and deplete the Bro list making it harder for you to fly the scheds and cover the anomalies. You can't until the need arises on the RJ side for more pilots and you begin to hire.

Hey,
I am wondering if there is any good info anywhere online about the Brasilia. I'm trying to get ready for class and have the memory items and limitations down but am trying to find out more about the plane. There isn't as much info on the emb120 as you can find online about crjs etc...

What sort of information? I would focus on the packet of limitations and memory items they send you, know each number front and back including the unit of measurement if there is one. You'll have plenty of Bro information to handle once systems start.
