I know this opinion is unpopular but the E175 is the same class and size aircraft as the CRJ-900 which means the pay will be very close is not the same. E175 pilots will gross more but not due to a higher rate. They will make more since all their soft time will be paid at the E175 rate instead of the base CRJ rate, that’s an 8% pay increase on all soft time!
We need to get rid of the BHO (Brad Holt Override) in this next pay package!

Not sure how I missed that but thanks. Wonder if they would interview me before I hit 1500TT I'm only a month out.

Don't mean to come across as an A hole here, but if they require a MINIMUM of 1,500 hrs, why would they consider anyone with less than that? If you don't meet the minimums right now, wait until you do.

I have a friend who was 1.2 hours below the minimums when they were 1,000 and he couldn't get an interview. He set up his interview the day he hit 1,000. I had something similar because I didn't have the ATP written done and had to wait to schedule an interview. The minimums are hard minimums to interview, but the second you have them they'll interview you.

SkyWest has always been very strict on that, and now we also have the new ATP requirements to deal with.
Around the same time I was hired here, I was also offered interviews at Comair, ACA, and Eagle well under their posted minimums. Even Airnet offered me a interview/job when I still needed another 100 hours or so to do 135 IFR. Point being, apply where you can, and hope for the best.

I wasn't sure if it was a hard minimum or not. I've been offered interviews were I didn't meet the mins and was asked to come out and if hired would have to wait until the required flight time was met. No biggie I'll keep updating Airline Apps since I'm only a month out from the TT.

Also, if the fence is high the plane is going to go very junior. If you can pu/drop trips or adjust your schedule between 230+/- CRJ's why risk a serious reduction in QOL on 40 planes (especially while they slowly come on line) just for a slight bump in pay. And, another training event which can torpedo any chance at a Legacy if you happen to choke on a sim check or oral. The risk v reward just isn't there. Let the new guys take the chances.
