HA! You're hilarious.

New (to us) aircraft. Increased flying for AAG. The 4 USAir 900's are replacing 4 200's currently in service, which were intended to be used as spares at the time of the announcement.

Thanks!

No, they don't care about "ME currency", other than an applicant who is current in larger/turbine/135/121 aircraft would be at a competitive advantage over a piston ASEL pilot.

I second that. Air Mekong planes without a home, so we volunteered them to Airways as straight replacements for the 200.

Also, Alaska has a LAX domicile/hub right? Any chance these new plane would go there instead if growing NW?

I think the OO flights out of CLT later this summer have been determined to have been entered into the reservation system incorrectly. I wouldn't place any strong bets on them at this point in time.

Your attention to detail is dismal. The last time I checked, the Skywest page DID NOT HAVE OPENINGS FOR FOs. What is so hard to understand about that? That IS A FACT. I'm not saying Skywest will never hire again, I've simply spoke to the fact that they are not hiring right now. Perhaps they are gearing to hire, I don't care. I didn't post a lie.....I wasn't corrected. You've even noted yourself that poolies will come first.

Can you or do you read?
You must have some deep issues to react as you do; either that or you're a miserable person..... We did not say you were lying, just corrected your statement about SkyWest not hiring and explained the process. Which you then became extremely argumentative and showed your ass.

It looks more like your comprehension skills are in question. As I said earlier, I truly hope for your sake you're not as you seem.

Good luck.

For those who say that SkyWest isn't hiring, I can assure you they are. 100%. This comes from someone who isn't inside the company at all. I was contacted yesterday about selecting a date to interview in June (several dates were available). I deferred to July for a scheduling conflict at my current employer.

Again, I'm not saying this based off rumor or hearsay. I also was not internally recommended or anything. Hopefully this helps confirm the fact that they are indeed hiring off the street folks.

OK. Please drop the subject everyone. This whole conversation has been based on someone saying that SKW isn't hiring because their website isn't up to date. Delta is taking applications, but they are not hiring and their website says that they are taking applications. We know that companies websites are not always unto date specially when they utilize a third party for web applications.

Was called yesterday by Kristin to set up an interview. Those who are in limbo and have not been contacted, make sure your airline apps profile is up to date!
