Does Skywest require recency of flight particular to Multi? Say last time I flew a multi was a year ago and yet my single engine time is plenty in past 30/90 days, would this be a problem?

Thanks!

Please stop saying this. You might be looking for a job to built turbine time but most of us here are looking for a career and is hard when people don't care what they get paid as long as they fly a jet. I am not saying that you are in this group but please don't say that you are not here for the money. Most of us utilize this flying gig that we love to provide for our families and do need the money.

They wouldn't interview me last year because I wasn't instrument current. Pretty absurd really, considering my experience, but it's their company and they can require whatever they feel like at the time.

I'm sorry you werent interviewed because of this. However, it's more your own fault. 6 approaches and a missed isn't hard to do in within a six month time. You could have stayed current by utilizing a sim. The recruitment team may have thought since you were out of currency you may not have passed the sim portion of the interview.

As for multi, as long as you have the time tt and me requirements, I don't see it being a big deal. Apply and let HR make the call. Good luck

SW added 3 more 700's to the Alaska side, online this fall.

Wasn't clear if it is growth or repainting of current equipment. The announcement implied new growth...

What about the Airways flying Chip alluded to? Would that be the few 900s out of PHX or as someone mentioned earlier, flights out of CLT?

I took the comment about the 900 flying for US to mean previously announced growth. Supposed to be based in PHX but flow through CLT a lot. It's typical SW style... flow through a hub. No need for a base until there is enough flying to support it. About 100 departures from CLT next month is what I heard..(from a hotel van driver)
