The CRJ is a quiet cockpit and if you can afford it the 850 will make even more silent but the 750 will work just fine.

No, the headset does not have to be TSO'd. SkyWest only requires you to have a headset that is "compatible with the aircraft intercom system," so any standard aviation headset will do.

I used the 750 in the CRJ, hated it. But I´m used to the Bose X. I would recommend a noise canceling headset, at the end of the day you will feel more fatigued without one..

I was hired in March of this year. I really wanted the bro for the west coast bases, and was assigned it, but they called a week later and really encouraged me to switch to the jet which I switched to, after deciding the increase in pay in year two would be worth it. As staffing on the jet has started to reach a more normal level, I think that if you want the bro they would give it to you.
