It can be pretty hit or miss whether you fly or not even if you are call first some months. Working weekends will get you more flying than working Monday-Friday will in my experience.

Hit or miss. If you're on reserve on weekends you generally fly more. One month I had weekends off and my room mate worked weekends. I blocked zero hours for the month. I had a few TDYs and sat RDY a few times but never flew a single flight. He broke guarantee with 80 hours. We were one number apart in seniority in the same base.

Who calls out sick on a Tuesday
This is pretty accurate.

This is a very true statement. I was fortunate to have only done one month of full reserve since I've been here, but no question there's a big difference.

Any of those reserves out there care to share what their SMALLEST pay check was, or a line holder care to share their fond memory of their smallest pay check?

Get first year pay times guarantee hrs, then do your standard deductions. It will vary depending on what state you are living in due to taxes. Remember that there are many variables when it comes to one's pay. Also medical, will you need medical, for you or for a dependent.
But Single with no dependents first year pay for most regionals will be:
800-950 Gross Pay
Minus
80-110 Federal tax
30-40 SS Tax
10-14 Medicare
So some where between 650 to 850 take home pay.
At SKW with their pay guarantee you should be closer to 650 or so with just your basic pay as a first year FO

Smallest has been 823.76. I've flown a lot, that per diem goes a long way on 1st yr pay.
Unless you want to count training which is 60hrs x 22hr for 1st year pay. 2nd year pay is much better.

My smallest paycheck my first year on reserve came during a month that I wasn't called out once to fly. $660 after taxes. 37.5 hours at $22/hour minus the deductions.

I averaged mid $800's after taxes for the first year per paycheck. Second year gave about $1100-$1200 average after taxes per paycheck. All on reserve. Broke guarantee now and then and it was about $300-$600 more.
