Just got an email back from hr today.
No interviews in the short term, but write back at the beginning of each month for further news.
Cant wait forever, so starting class soon at another regional. Blows.

Yeah I hear you. I'm in the pool, but if a good opportunity comes along in the meantime I'm going to take it.

A heads up to the guys waiting. The company is offering time off no pay for certain positions in select domiciles ie: FAT EMB CA. A few RFPs are still out, we should hear the results by March. If we get any of them the flood gates are open if not it will take awhile for attrition to necessitate hiring.

Still some more 70 seat RJ's for Delta I believe. Don't think they would be this year but in the near future. Good luck bein cheaper than go jets.

Interesting. I always thought any large UAL RJs would be like a similar deal to Delta. OO giving up 200s for one 700/900, which would be a total loss of airframes. We have still been hiring a lot of flight attendents but pilot hiring has stopped, this would explain securing larger RJ flying. I don't know, just a thought.
