What you're dealing with would be my worst nightmare. I had a roommate last year that came to SkyWest after working at Comair, Lynx, Flight Express, and then Horizon (he got the call from OO while in training at Horizon and was able to leave without breaking the contract somehow). He's a good guy, but damn has he had some bad luck in this business. So far things have worked out for him at SkyWest, but still... He should be a CA somewhere by now, if not at a major.

apparently they just awarded the January CRJ upgrade class and EMB-CRJ transition class today, so just sit tight on the EMB classes. they're not going anywhere

Yep. The cancelled DEC EMB class is currently scheduled for Jan...although....it could get moved to Feb. Nobody is sure. Interviews and hiring still in progress. It's really just a bump in the road i would guess.
