This summer is when the 1500hr rule goes into full effect.

Are you sure it's not the 16 -900s from 9E ATL base? I know for sure those are coming this way starting in January. I just left 9E to come to OO and I was ATL based. I'm not sure that a 9E captain would know any info with -200s leaving.

Ok good, thanks! I'm at 1250 right now and I hope it's not raised to 1500tt before August. Fingers crossed.

This makes sense. I could see 9E parking -200s, but why would DL transfer 16 50-seaters to SKYW? That doesn't help reduce DCI -200s or help 9E's bid to exit bankrupcy.

I expect it to be raised to 1500 (ATP mins) long before Aug...like in a month or two.

They don't want to hire someone who is below ATP mins, train them, and then have to bring them back for an ATP ride a couple months later. Also a new hire will likely be on reserve and may fly as little as 0-20 hours/month...do the math.

How big of an impact does ATP written score have on the interview or getting hired? Do they not care as long as it's score of 70?

I'm studying for the written right now and I can go to local flight school to take the test or go to ATP flight school on their 1 day cramp course. I assume the cramp course is designed to get you to simply just pass.

Spend the money on Sheppard Air ATP software. With little effort you will make in the 90s and complete the test in 7-10 mins. Just do a search on here for feedback. Good Luck

Or do the JAA ATPL and it will take you 7-10 months!
