I interviewed on 11/6 and I thought it went good. I have been checking my emails every 5 minutes since than. Do not ask me how I do it while asleep.
So is it true that if you see a giant USPS package sticking out the side of the mailbox you can then safely assume you have been hired as you walk towards it?
Or might you get an email first?
BTW - If any of my fellow interviewers on 11/6 are reading this than PM me. I was the last one in to the Tech/HR and when I got out at 5:30 pm everyone was gone.

The debriefing I thought went well. They all said that it was apparent that I prepared very well, etc. We debriefed on some mistakes during the CRM (single pilot guy kind of stuff) and I forgot to put my gear up in the sim (preoccupied about how it was going to handle). Otherwise I flew the sim on rails never more than 50 feet/1 dot. I nailed the tech but of course the HR is always going to be something where you are going to think you could have said this or that or not said this or that, etc.
I left there really impressed with this company and really wanting to work there even more. I am wondering if my fellow interviewers got the job or not as well. I regret not getting their contact info early on since we bonded pretty good and everyone gets split up at random times and when all was said and done I was the last one in there.
The pitch sensitivity in the ATC 810 is something to behold.

My phone call took two weeks. If they didn't kick you out and the debrief went well then you probably have nothing to worry about. My room mate didn't get a call after two weeks so he called them to ask and they told him on the phone that he was hired.

Really? I was under the impression the yes or no came from C.E. and the folks from St George after the interview group left their feed back along with clearing background.

The decision to hire a successful applicant is probably a collective decision.
I would not lose sleep over not getting a phone call an hour after you interview, if after 2 weeks and you haven`t heard anything then i might send a courtesy email inquiring about your selection as a pilot applicant.

I recommended someone and they interviewed in October and were called an hour later notifying them of their successful interview. SKW followed up by email to confirm they were accepting the offer. Class date in January. So obviously it varies.

I was hired before I left the building, others waited weeks to hear back. It all depends on their needs at the time, who you know, and if all the decision makers are available that day.
Also if there's anything in your background which they want to clear up, that can cause a delay as well.

Yeah really Mr Slats... I was just sitting down for my flight home when they called. Made for an enjoyable trip home!
