I can already hold it but thanks for playing. I've been around a little while, just because my account is new doesn't mean I'm new to the airline/industry

Seems those that put nonsense on here dont work at SkyWest.. Just a quick talk to any mx guy and you will find out that 700's are staying (even the QX delta paint birds) and E175 coming.. Hiring 100 a month for a reason... What will upgrade go to...??? Anyones guess. But i would say under 3 years by summer..

I know quite a few Renslows running around with 4 stripes over there.

Says the guy that works at the place that was capped on altitude because they stalled too many airplanes.....people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

You might need to talk to a different mechanic. The fleet manager has said openly that he does not expect the 700 to last more than 5 years. The new structural AD on the spar and wheelwells killed the airframe.

I know right? Skywest has come closer to putting one in the dirt than anyone else recently with that stick pusher incident. Apparently some Chuck Yeager tried to power out of a stall at altitude.

Two words, "cruise checklist"

Is it possible to make a short call reserve work when living 3 hours from base? I know its a 2 hour call out but does crew support actually call right at 2 hours or does the call typically come early? I've got options if I actually need to be in base to make short call work but I'd rather stay at home if its possible
