We're not loosing the 30 and we aren't at a 3.5 year upgrade either. Last awards were still at 4 years.

You must know something no one else does. Delta is scoped out in large rj's, and American is moving away from the 700 also. There are 41 expiring and they will not all find homes.

American is moving away from the 700? but we are putting United 700s into the American system... Makes sense

I was under the impression that only 15 are accounted for at this point. 7 for AA and 8 for DL? Am I missing something?

And neither are you. The UA flying is about to get much smaller in the next 3 years with their new Airbus coming from China and Spirit, their 40 additional 737s just announced and the E190 order which will be announced in the new few months. Plus DL taking back the flying via the 190. That's why we will shrink and upgrades will go backwards with possible downgrades.

This is exactly what the majority of us want. The shrinking you speak of will be industry wide and not confined to just SkyWest as you continuously spout off about.

I would not call a short term contract for 7 out of 41 airframes a success. The 700's going into the delta system are replacing the older horizon 700s so it's still a loss of airframes

You're right, our last vacancy had guys here for less than 14 months, pretty long upgrade.

You don't know what's going to happen yet.

Bonehead mistakes? As bad as the ones that have been publicized at a certain regional? I'm sure there's some questionable things that take place, but care to expand? Seeing as you said you're in another aircraft while these "bonehead mistakes" are taking places. I've so far flown with solid people and haven't dealt with any of this. Don't forget our quick upgrades were 99% prior 121 experience with years of experience.
