All airline stocks are down a lot the past week and most are down significantly for the past year. SKYW generally moves in the same direction as the rest of them. SKYW has actually done pretty well compared to some. Spirit is down 53% this year, United is down 32%, Virgin is down 25%.
I wouldn't read into their recent drop as meaning much other than just following the industry trend.

Lots of FOs with 2+ years seniority don't want to seat lock themselves for a year by transitioning to ERJ right seat either since they could upgrade within a year. That's part of the reason I didn't do it. I personally think upgrading from senior CRJ FO to the ERJ would be a better choice because a junior CRJ captain is going to fly nothing but 20 leg 4 days on the 200. Upgrading to the ERJ would at least buy yourself a 700/900 type line even as a junior captain.

I shorted Skyw a little while back but got squeezed out. Right idea, bad timing.

Anyone know where MP went? Saw that there is a SAPA opening in that region and he was 1 of the 7 CA to drop off the list so far this week. Going to miss his enthusiasm. I wondered if he had an offer somewhere the way he had toned it back over the last little bit.

Hopefully doing something other than flying, the guy had no business in a cockpit. The guy has issues in every base he has transited.
He was all enthusiasm until shortly after he became a rep.
