Good news indeed. I was hoping that it would get better in January when the MRS goes into effect. But I have a laundry list of times when I thought things would get better and ended up being disappointed.
Looking forward to being cautiously optimistic with your prediction.

Why, in this era, does SkyWest insist on 500 FW hours? Everyone else wants 250 FW PC.

Seriously though CCB, if you detest your job as much as you appear to, and if half the stories I've heard about you (some of them from very senior captains who you swung gear for back in the day), then you owe it to yourself, and to those who fly with you, to seek other employment.

This is a really silly question. I don't think 500 hours is much to ask before hauling 50 to 80 people around. You mean a company that wants to hire me to fly airplanes wants me to have a decent amount of experience flying...........airplanes? How rude. SMH

Uh, because of 2000-hour helicopter pilots who think their time is worth something, but can't fly a single-engine ILS in a sim without rolling it on short final and crashing. True story.
What you most likely saw was a fluke... I've flown with more helicopter pilots than I can count and their stick and rudder skills are usually phenomenal. I take it you don't have any RW hours do you?
