I wasn't convinced they were coming to SLC either until I heard they are putting a 175 sim in the SLC Flight Safety. Thats what made me change my mind and that would make sense with the staffing. They are even put more FOs in SLC and there are plenty of those already.

We should be over 5000 pilots by the end of next year at this rate. I already have a few hundred under me and just finishing IOE now. Ready to pick up as much flying as I can.

Over 5000? Highly doubtful with 30-50 pilots leaving a month. I'm sure that number of 30-50 will only increase next year.

While 5000 might be a stretch, the list has grown by over 500 in the last 18 months. Not sure how long they can keep that up. Also I'm quite certain JB22 is a troll.

If they really wanted to beef up SLC they wouldn't need to award 10 here 10 there like they do for junior bases like MSP and ORD. If they had a DVR with 100 SLC CA vacancies on the CRJ they'd fill it instantly.

Thats only for travle problems. DL 175's = must travel them on Delta not UA. Plus the free empty space in the SLC FSI building.. Reason the rest of the sims are in DEN. Im still guessing LAX/SEA.. Will know by May 16'...

E175=ORD
Most CRJ new hires are assigned MSP initially, but are able to bid elsewhere within a month or two after training. As a general rule, the further west you go, the more senior the base typically gets.

There is this thing called the "Search". In stories handed down over the ages its a mystical box that when clicked and words are typed into it, it can reveal all the information you are looking for. Now granted these are just old stories handed down from forum to forum... But I think if you were too look hard enough and wish upon a star, that you may be the lucky one to find it!
